Ubuntu一直是我喜歡的工作環境,因為包含了很多方便的功能,其中一項就是Hot corners, 也就是把 移到畫面的四個角落,會啟動對應的功能,例如把所有的視窗排列出來,不用按下alt + tab or window + tab,但這功能自從unity被導入到ubuntu後,就找不到了

當然可以安裝Cinnamon 或切換到 gnome shell使用這功能,只是在Ubuntu 12.04出來的這些天, 使用下來真的覺得比當初在11.04 Unity 剛導入時時好太多了,但hot corners 怎麼辦呢?又不想切到 Cinnamon or Gnome shell 去.
Hot corner 功能在12.04 雖可用利用Hotkey +W 或 +S 達到同樣的需求,必竟滑鼠還是比較方便,如果能用為何不用呢?

所以我在網路上找看有沒有想關的內容,也討論到一些方法,如安裝Bright side或 gnome shell tweak等,但最後還是在一個老地方找到直接啟動就好了

– 先開啟Lans 功能( + a)找尋 Compiz執

– First you have to execute CompizConfig Settings Manager.

– 找尋Window Management 再選擇 調整比例

– Searching Window Managment then choose Scale

– 找到啟始化所有視窗的視窗選擇器 接下來找出想要的位置,如右上或右下都是不錯的地方. 關閉Compiz後,以後滑鼠移到畫面右上方就可以把所有開啟的視窗排列出來了.

– then select(click) Initiate Window Picker for All Windows, pick one corner you like to initialize this.

– 同樣排列Workspace也是相似的方式,只是地方不同. 至 Desktop 選擇 Expo

– It’s pretty the same as Window Picker setting for Workspace Expo, just enter Desktop then click Expo

– 一進來 Bindings 就能看到 Expo Edge 點擊後,同樣選喜愛的角落做為啟動方式.

– Choose Expo Edge and pick one corner for Workspace Expo. That’s it, simple right.

對我來說因為Unity的難用讓我跳去gnome2 or Cinnamon, 現在從頭學習記錄!
